Vitae Spirits Distillery in Charlottesville, Virginia is seeking enthusiastic, part-time Tasting Room Associates for our new tasting room due for completion in October.
Responsibilities:
•Prepare cocktails and serve our distilled spirits to patrons
•Educate customers about the positive characteristics of our spirits and company values
•Represent the distillery in a positive manner to customers and vendors
•Efficiently and accurately use computerized point of sale systems
•Provide support for off-site events
•Aid in some aspects of spirits production
Requirements:
•Proven work experience as a bartender
•Working knowledge of mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
•Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
•Exceptionally responsible
•Able to work non-traditional hours, including weekends
•Capable of abiding complex liquor regulations and safety guidelines
•Applicants must have the right to work in the United States, be over 21 years old and be able to drive legally.
•Background checks will be performed on promising candidates
