Maple Syrup Barrel Finished Rum

The Maple Syrup Barrel finished Rum is a collaboration with Back Creek Farms, a maple syrup company settled in Highland County Virginia. Often referred to as “little Switzerland,” this area is known for its mountainside pastures, clear creeks, and high altitude. Back Creek Farm prides itself in making maple syrup the old fashioned way, and sometimes they add a little barrel aging to their process. We have taken a few of these used bourbon maple syrup barrels and finished our 1 year aged rum in them, for a touch of maple sweetness that is pure bliss!
