1 1/2 oz. Vitae Spirits Barrel Aged Rum
1/2 oz Sweet heat syrup*
4 Dashes Angostura Bitters
Orange peel
Rum Soaked Cherry

Sweet Heat Simple
Add 1 cup grade A maple syrup, 1 cup water, 1 Habanero pepper (cut in half) to a pot. Bring this mix to a boil, turn off heat and let sit till room temp. Strain out solids and keep in a mason jar for up to 1 month.

- Add orange peel, bitters, and sweet heat syrup to a rocks glass
- muddle ingredients
- Add one large ice cube
- Top with Barrel-Aged Rum
- Garnish with rum-soaked cherry
